Treated my cousin to Sweet Ginger for his birthday and we were both amazed by the quality and quantity of food we received for the price paid. We made it easy for our patient and attentive waiter by ordering two Thai iced tea and the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. Starting with the Thai iced tea; which was almost like a dessert. So smooth and sweet! It complimented the meal. The miso soup was comforting and had a balanced ratio of broth, tofu, greens, and green onion. The salad was fresh, crisp, and dressed with a rich and tasty peanut dressing. Of course, the highlight of our meal was the incredible bento boxes. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were my favorite. They were breaded to ideal crispiness and paired well with the soy dipping sauce. The vegetables were one big broccoli floret and large sliced carrot and zucchini medallions. The teriyaki steak was scrumptious, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with a generous amount of sauce. There was enough for me to dip other box components into, like the California rolls, tofu, and the Japanese dumpling. We dusted off everything. Not even the leftover salad dressing remained because we drank it all up! The whole experience was so much fun and we had a blast. Can't wait to go back. We left feeling satisfied and can add this to our list of happy memories!

My wife and I have slightly different tastes as she leans more toward Japanese and me Chinese. The selection here satisfies both our needs. Service is excellent, never stopped refilling our water and checking in from time to time. Waitstaff was very attentive all the servers seemed to be ready and willing to help guests no matter who was assigned to our table. Food was good, fresh and flavorful. Prices were reasonable. The place is small and when we arrived quite full, so the noise level was a bit high, but it thinned out and was fine. I was very happy and couldn't have asked for more at this price point.
This by far is my favorite sushi place in the DMV. Their quality has always been the same and you can count on them to be consistent. The service here is good. They are attentive and keep your drinks filled. The sushi here is really good. I came here with a few friends and we ordered a bunch of sushi. We started off with a Miso soup and salad for each person. For the sushi, we started with with toro sashimi and salmon sushi. The toro was perfect! The interior seating is spacious. The booths fit 4 people while their tables fit more. We then moved on to the boat where we ordered the volcano roll, wasabi cream roll, omega roll, eel avocado, spicy toro roll, mexican roll, and more. I recommend their spicy mayo on the side and fresh wasabi. With these two items people tend to forget, it makes the experience even better. I highly recommend these folks if you're in the mood for sushi.
On Mondays, Vienna, VA starts to resemble Vienna, Austria because several restaurants are closed. We wanted Chinese (closed), and then tried Thai (closed) and then remembered that Sweet Ginger probably had the dishes we wanted. With Sweet Ginger being "Asian Fusion", it seems to have all the popular dishes from various types of Asian restaurants. We were not disappointed.
I always make a point to come here while in Vienna/Tyson's Corner. They have such a great selection of quality of fresh fish, sushi, sashimi, maki rolls and specialty rolls. Their apps are also great. My favorite is the Harumaki rolls. The combination of the sauce with rolls and the creaminess of the cream cheese -- omg. Honestly, one of the main reasons I stop in. Besides that they have the best, most attentive staff of most restaurants in the area. I can't wait to stop in again.
We absolutely love this place. Always fresh and consistently amazing sushi. My son and I love the salmon and avocado roll, crunchy lobster roll, shrimp tempura roll and we have tried so many different ones too. Take out is always right and pretty fast. If you go in, the service is very good and friendly too. Totally recommend this place for sushi!
